This article usually applies to older versions of ImgBurn. As of 18.104.22.168, the installer will do these steps for you automatically if you specify: Enable SPTI access for All Users.
When you run ImgBurn without Administrative privileges you will get an error: You need Administrative privileges to use SPTI.

Didn’t work for me, Windows Xp pro SP3.
Also changed Devices: Allowed to Format and Eject removable -> Administrator and Interactive Users.
