..after finding this thread and installing JL_Cmder (with ni real success) I managed to get BBSAK detecting my phone (as this was the real reason I came to this thread) and managed to remove all the VAD (voice activated dialling which I never had any luck with due to not being able to speak as fast as, and sound like!, a synthesised robot) which free’d up about 2MB as I had GB English installed also due to trying to make it usable for me. I’m sure JL is a fine program, but the GUI in BlackBerrySwissArmyKnife did everything I needed and so much more. I also saved all my .COD files while I was at it which is something that has bothered me ever since I’ve had problems connecting my new Pearl 3G 9100 with my usual handy programs which I’ll check back with now that my BB detects.

The thing that worked for me is:
do a battery pull while your app is already running and like mentioned, “You should notice the icon change on your phone to appear that it has connected.” as originally mentioned at the start of the thread.

correct me if I’m wron but woulden’t it solve the problem to insted of using the .nk2 file’s sugestion you write the complete E-mail address,

insted of Hank the bank you write hank.the@bank.com

that way you would uppdate your .nk2 file

Did you check the DVD-Rom/Client folder? The MSI should already be there.

what about a fix when you have deployed java through GPO and the update from v6u27 to v7u1 is giving the same issues?

Would rather not sneaker my way through updating something like Java…

I right-clicked on the SEPM icon > Open file location > Right-clicked on the upgrade.bat (that you referenced; Thank you)> Run as administrator, it seemed to push through after failing twice the normal way, which is odd, because I am logged in as the Administrator, plus I didn’t even restart the Server before running the file again. None the less it sucessfully upgraded, Thank you again for your post as it helped me avoid a major headache…God Bless you!
